Trump was the President at the time. The botched pandemic response happened on his watch and is his responsibility. What ever happened to "the buck stop here"? The amount of excuses we still see people make for the Trump administration's almost transcendent incompetence in this matter is disappointing.
In the entire world almost every leader made a total fool of themselves in 2020.
Now many of them have gone full pfascist insane.
The moral is simple—the “leaders” are the problem.
We are going to have to be our own solution.
