{She was said to be drunk}

Part of preflight checks is to drain a couple of ounces of fuel from the lowest point in the fuel lines. Water is denser than 100LL, so you get the water out of the line and all is good.

Most light plane crashes are due to overlooked checklist items and poor planning.

I found it most interesting that he was the CEO of a software company that specialized in “clinical research”. Hmmm.
Were they crunching numbers on the vax injuries?

“... De Vries co-founded Medidata Solutions, a software company specializing in clinical research, and was the vice chair of life sciences and health care at Dassault Systemes, which acquired Medidata in 2019...”

Two expert pilots on board. Make one wonder if this was accidental.

Co-founder not CEO.

Yes, you are right. My instructor taught me to shake the wings to gather the condensed water from the top interior of the fuel tanks and wait for at least 30 minutes before checking the fuel taps for water.
There is also a fuel bleed lever in the engine compartment. Unfortunately some pilots are eager to takeoff and overlook safety.
My instructor also warned me to smell the fluid in the sample cup as it's possible that it could just be water.
Most times pilots just look for little beads of water at the bottom of the cup not realizing they have a full cup of water.

Looking a bit farter we find that yes ...
“The company has two primary products. Medidata Rave EDC, its flagship product, introduced in 2001, is a single system for electronic data capture and clinical data management, allowing client data to be accessible in one place.[29][28][30][31] Medidata Rave Clinical Cloud, introduced in 2013, is a platform used for data capture and management of patient-related data for clinical operations.[8][31][32] “

In Feb 2018, Medidata announced the new plan to launch virtual trials, ... and just in time for the Covid pandemic. And was bought out by Dassault Systemes in 2019.

Still I wonder if this was an accident.

Some of their big pharma customers are... Johnson&Johnson and Astrazenica. So it looks like they were directly involved in the Covid19 vax trials which are currently under scrutiny.
