Can white voters who back a Black candidate still hold racist beliefs and views?

That question has come to the fore in the wake of Glenn Youngkin’s gubernatorial victory in the blueish state of Virginia. Conservatives were quick to counter claims that Youngkin’s win represented the effectiveness of stoking racial fears with results from Virginia’s down-ballot election for lieutenant governor — a contest where the Republican candidate, Winsome Sears, made history by becoming the first Black woman elected to statewide office in Virginia. The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board, for example, emphatically mocked the notion that “voters called white supremacists elected a Black Lt. Gov.” Conservative commentators on Fox News and Twitter, including Sears herself, also used the historic victory as an ostensible shield against accusations of Republican racism.

So, the phrase: “White Supremacists Elected her” came from a Joy Reid. She had to come up with a reason Sears won, and it was disgusting, degrading and well, an incredible racist statement on her part. Many Democrat Pundits have mirrored her and become like obedient little sheep, falling into place going: “Bah Bah, White Supremacists, Bah Bah”. The complete insanity of it all is mind boggling. The Left has made charges of racism again anyone they don’t like, and this is just gone too far. We need to call them out for being the true racists in this country. Sears won on merit and her platform. And the Left needs to stop acting like this is a junior High student council and quit whining and crying and lying about the winner. Grow the frack up, accept the loss, act like an adult, and move on.

Part of their problem is what they label “racist” views. I fully admit to being “half-racist”, because I openly despise and have little respect for at least half of African-Americans. But the other half or so I have no problem. They can be my next door neighbor and we will get along fine.

“White racism” has become a non-falsifiable doctrine like “climate-change” alarmism; no matter what happens, no matter how contradictory from previous predictions, the theory is said to explain it.
The ONLY racists in America today are democRATs, as they always talk about race and divide by race and pit us against each other by race. They and their colluders have stolen our election and our freedoms while calling us names, but sometimes the chicken comes home to roost. I read an article with a perfect example, “Cardiologist Who Said He ‘Won’t Cry at Funeral’ For “Selfish” Unvaccinated People Suddenly Dies in His Sleep 2 Weeks After 3rd Covid Jab”, and you can give that a look at GatewayPundit. I actually laughed out loud when I saw that headline, which isn’t the first such example and won’t be the last either. Democrats never gave up their plantations they just moved them to big cities they control, offering the illusion of freedom and with the new crop being votes.
Backed implies past tense. They NEVER changed. They just got sneaky about it all.
