Not surprising. Not that anyone could have predicted this particular vaccine related death, but there will be deaths.

Every medication, vaccination, drug therapy etc. ever developed has been debilitating and or fatal to some people. Every. Single. One.

The covid vaccines are no different. They will cause disability and or death in some small percentage of the people that take them.

This is why there is a set of procedures for bringing new drugs and treatments to market. These are lessons learned "the hard way" - by a price in blood. During testing of experimental drugs various questions are answered including the basics "Does it work?" and "At what dosage does it work?" But also important questions like "Does it injure or kill?" "What are the side effects, and who gets them?" There are generally 4 phases of testing, and getting through all 4 can (and does) take years. IIRC anywhere from 3 to 10 years had been typical, although that has been coming down to more like 3 to 5 now.

Now it is time for a reality check for everyone kneeling at the vax altar. When I was having my consult with my doctor regarding the vax he confidently told me "Of course the mRNA based vaccines are safe. They've been working with mRNA for 30 years." Well, he's not wrong, but he is interpreting and presenting that information wrong. Yes, doctors and scientists have been looking at using mRNA technology that long. However, they struggled to make it work for decades. It was difficult to find the right carrier to transport the mRNA into the cells. It was wildly difficult and expensive to manufacture, even in the lab in small quantities just for reseach. It wasn't until very recently, the last few years, that some breakthroughs happened and the technical problems were solved. When covid happened and governments started throwing truckloads of cash at the problem, the manufacturing issues were abated.

But here's the rub. Until the experimental covid vaccines were approved last fall, a relative very few people had ever gotten an mRNA based treatment. When the covid madness started, there were only 8 or 9 mRNA based treatments in the works. Only one of those was actually as far as phase 2 of testing, the rest were still in phase 1. The covid vaccines were developed and rushed through phase 1 and phase 2 testing in a matter of weeks. When the FDA approved them as experimental and under the emergency use authorization they had only phase 2 data to go on with a 120 day history for a few thousand participants.

Therefore, we are in, not just in-effect but literally in phase 3 of the drug trials for the vaccines. It doesn't matter that the FDA waved a magic wand and declared the Pfizer Comirnaty full use approval. That is utterly idiotic. Comirnaty is different (in 4 components as I understand it) from the original Pfizer mRNA formulation. Comirnaty was presented to the FDA with just phase 1 and phase 2 trial data. Now, when the FDA granted EUA back in 2020 on phase 2 data that was marginally understandable and defensible. If the FDA were to grant EUA for Comirnaty it would be similarly understandable but a little sketchy - I mean there are already other allegedly effective vaccines out there, why not put Comirnaty through the normal testing phases? Nope, the FDA granted full use authority based on just phase 2 data. This doesn't mean Comirnaty is safe, only that the FDA is quite willing to violate their own rules, regulations, and best practices developed over years by making terrible mistakes. History would suggest we're probably making another one right now.

This is my real problem with taking the vax now. It is in phase 3 testing. This is where they usually get more widespread use - a few tens of thousands of users over several years. This is where side effects are discovered now that a more statistically significant sample size is in the trial. This is where side effects that take time to present are discovered. So now that we're hearing stories of the vaccines causing disability and death, this is expected. That's why drug trials are known to be risky.

The gotcha is, instead of a few tens of thousands of people in the trial, risking maybe a handful of disabilities and deaths, we have a couple hundred million people in phase 3 of the trial. We are risking disability and death by the millions. A few years down the road here, if we figure out we've given 20 million people Lupis or something like that, what, are we just going to say "Oops, sorry!" ??? No, I predict if something like that happens with millions disabled and dead across the globe, traceable to the widespread use of new mRNA technology, there will be Nuremberg-like inquiries and trials set up. The people responsible, from the President down through the FDA, CDC, and heads of the various companies will be held accountable. Regarding these potentially debilitating or fatal side effects - what did they know and when did they know it? A remote possibility, and I hope we are not killing thousands to try to save thousands, but this is brand new stuff, we are learning things we did not know.

So this doctor's death, while sad and more than a little ironic, is not the first and won't be the last. He will be followed by at least a few, mabye a few million. We just don't know, and there is no scientific basis (yet) to say one outcome, or some outcome in between, is more or less likely than any other.
