Because they cannot keep employees in the stores to keep the doors open. Funny how it’s good for some and not others.

CVS has stunningly high employee turnover—even without the vaxx mandate.

A significant percentage (a third, more in some stores) are college age folks who “call out” any time they are sleeping in after a wild party or a hot date—after a few times the store has no choice but to fire them. Then another percentage are the single moms who “call out” every time their young child is sick or their teenager is arrested and thrown in jail (or both).

Regardless of what existing employees due, requiring vaxxes for new employees is going to make new hiring extremely difficult—until the mandates are revoked.
