“Drinking causes liver failure.”

Is she saying that, or are you saying that? (I didn’t see the video; there are so many of them out there.)

Drinking CAN cause liver failure, and sometimes the liver just fails. Our good friend had a liver transplant, and died soon after that. She never had had a drink in her life.

No. She states drinking causes kidney failure. That is not even in the top 10 of most common alcohol related issues. It’s a clear misstatement. Most educated professionals would say alcoholism causes liver failure as that is the overwhelming most common effect of alcohol abuse.
