A group of House Democrats said Wednesday that they plan to introduce a resolution to censure Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., for posting an edited animated video that depicts him killing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and attacking President Joe Biden.

I believe that congressional Dems during the W Bush administration had a viewing of the killing of the president movie.
Party of fake Karens and Darens.....
Seems to me that I remember a movie where Bush was killed.
Crazy Giffy is not in Congress.
Of course your point is correct and this issue is nonsense.
It is part and parcel of their denial that anyone but them have free speech.
I watched the video, and it was more goofy and incoherent than “violent.” What looked like AOC’s face briefly flashed by, and I’m told Biden was in there somewhere as well. I don’t see how anyone watching that video could construe it as advocating violence against anybody; it seemed to be a statement against Biden’s open-borders policy, and not very well done. It was too “busy” and fast-paced.
Brings to mind that corny WWF video that had them all wadded up a few years ago — the one where Trump is pretending to beat up some guy labeled “THE MEDIA”.
I don't think that matters as they defended her right to "free speech". Heck, Let's Go Brandon is making them nuts but murdering the opposition is just peachy. Remember "bushitler"? I'm sick of the hypocrisy.
They got rid of former representative Steve King (R-IA) because he said that he was a “white nationalist” during an interview. They removed Marjorie Taylor Greene from all committee assignments because of her campaign ads. They are trying to do the same to Paul Gosar. Meanwhile, people like Maxine Waters, Ayanna Pressley and Ilhan Omar can spew hatred all day long.
You would think that the Republicans would close ranks and defend their fellow caucus members but nope. They eagerly sided with the Democrats.
Republicans want to be invited to parties and benefit from crony capitalism. Can’t do that and be honest.

It’s been removed from Twitter. Looks like it’s gone from Instagram too.
I always thought Hunter S. Thompson’s definition of the music business could be easily used for politics:
“The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs.
There’s also a negative side.”
That is why I call them the republicants ... feckless fools, balless whimps, dead souls living off the tax payers and rushing for hell.
Sounds good to me!
It is so easy being a Dem because they have no moral compass. It is there right to spew hate but don’t do it to them.
And a complicit press helps them.
