Klein is right, if countries don't want cruise ships they should ban them. And that if there are no ports in the world to go to, they'll be out of business. Of course he denies the cruise lines their ability to run their business'. They’ll threaten as they have in the past of going someplace else if any government says they’re going to regulate them. is how he describes rational business decisions. If a country doesn't want cruise ships, their decision to go elsewhere isn't a threat in any way. IMO there will be plenty of ports willing to accept cruise business.

If a country doesn't want cruise ships, their decision to go elsewhere isn't a threat in any way. IMO there will be plenty of ports willing to accept cruise business. It shouldn't be a problem for cruise lines with smaller ships that can dock, but the cruise lines today have new ships so large they wouldn't be able to use smaller ports that couldn't accommodate them , unless they are going to anchor up and take the passengers ashore by using lifeboats or shore ferries.
Just another hurdle to to overcome for the cruise lines.-Tom
