Is that you?

Yes.

We were on our way from Seattle down the West Coast to Mexico in 2010 after cruising the San Juans for a couple of years. We ended up in SF Bay for six months then sailed back to Hawaii. We sailed from Hawaii to Alaska in 2012. Been cruising and wintering here since then.

Wow that is a lot of sailing. I used to sail a LOT with my father when i was kid. He was nuts. When there was a small boat warning that is when we went sailing. Intentionally!
He would tell us, "If I left the boat in the harbor it might get damaged."
Once the mast broke in a major storm. That was fun.

on nice days he would heal the boat to the point you can visually watch easy 100 gallons of water entering the boat as I'm bailing with a bucket. The bilge pump worked fine it simply couldn't keep up. He would do it over and over.
