Vietnam was just a battle in the larger Cold War, it basically told the Soviets they weren’t going to get the rest of the Third World without a fight.
Sometimes you have to settle for the 51% of a 51%-49% judgement. The Viet Nam war broke our country in half but gave the planet time for Soviet and Maoist Marxism to exhaust their economic idiocies and let capitalism bring full industrial progress to their peoples. The Marxist left is now propelled by nothing other than momentum. The more we remind contemporary “socialists” that their roots are Marxist and that Marxism is a failure in all real terms, the faster we can knit this country back together.
