“Where I live, my hospital has no more beds space and has to put patients in portable beds in the corridors. This is because of the number of patients sick from COVID.“

Just asking: Do you work there? Have you seen this yourself, or is it what you’ve heard on the local news?

I’ve heard this a lot, but am curious as to why I have never seen footage to go with the news report.

My answer to "Just asking: Do you work there? Have you seen this yourself, or is it what you’ve heard on the local news?"

My son went to ER Nov 9th and had to stay in a bed out in the corridor. He saw beds lined up in all the corridors he saw.

My son went into the hospital, but I was not allowed in, because of COVID. There was a police officer at the door to enforce the rule. If I was part of a news crew, I doubt they would let me in. Videos from a camera phone? I don't understand why the media won't use those videos. Maybe the hospital confiscates them if one is caught using them. Then there is the legal matter of privacy and 'Videos Not Allowed in Hospital" prohibitions.
