That idea does not make the mouth water at all.
Sounds like a recipe for something with a very harsh, starchy flavor. A lingering aftertaste too, one hard to get rid of.

Vodka was invented by the Polish and was originally created from potatoes. The Russians stole it, and it’s now made with grains, and some are still made with potatoes. Those are usually the better flavored/cleaner/less hangover-y vodkas.
