even if turkey goes to $2 a pound, it still is a good deal....if we eat meat, we know a animal died...if we eat veggies, we know a plant died....it is what it is...
humans are omnivores....

Yes, let’s destroy another beloved tradition for no reason under the sun. There's always a reset, I mean reason.

The left is trying to destroy our culture a little bit at a time.
They are chipping away at our history and traditions, and replacing them with their own vapid celebrations.
I will not not celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas nor fail to recognize the true hsitory and meaning behind them.

Yes, we are doing plenty right.
That’s why the left is trying so hard to change it all.
Don’t let it discourage you. Wear it as a badge of honor that you are annoying the leftists so much.

We may decide to have leg of lamb or rib roast. But that would not make the author happy.

I grew up going to school right smack dab next to a turkey farm. We could call out to them over the fence and they’d answer back! There were multiple of thousands of them. They were out doors in the fresh air and sunshine with covered feeding stations all about, and buildings for them to shelter in at night. They had a ton of room to roam, and did so.
I dunno about other turkey farms, but this one was very good and I assume that other farms are too. Animals need a decent environment to thrive, and farmers seek to protect their huge investments.
I would suggest the author is ignorant and depends on the ignorance of others in order to persuade them to follow his/her counsel.
As for me and mine, turkey it is.

Experts offer a way to change tradition? It didn’t take an expert to tell me we are smoking a brisket this year instead of turkey.
