I think for “In ‘n Out” it was the Health Department that shut them down.


So does the Health Department have the authority to mandate that business check for vaccination cards on their own time and own expense? Again, if the Heath Department finds a health risk, sure they shut a place down. But they apparently shut down In ‘n Out for simply failing to perform an action, as opposed to having a restaurant full of disease.

I’m currently making a trip to the local hospital for treatments. The staff, ‘fully vaccinated’ is being thinned by new Wuhan infections. My wife and I got it after being ‘fully vaccinated’. Can’t see how carding people in restaurants and bars is going to help. I’m coming to the conclusion that much of this is to get people used to doing as they are told.

I agree with you, but whether we like it or not, health departments have pretty broad powers for defining a safe environment.
