If you avoid politics on Facebook, it is very useful.

With it, I am able to keep in touch with the entire class of 1969 from a small New Hampshire town. We are scattered throughout the world, but Facebook brings us together every day. With it, we were easily able to locate everyone and to plan and execute our 50th anniversary reunion.

With it, I am able to keep in touch and plan events with a world wide group of several hundred motorcycle enthusiasts who have been writing and meeting in person since our group was formed in 1992 on Usenet.

With it, I keep in touch with my family that is scattered throughout the USA. We used to communicate only a few times a year. We can now be a family even though careers, marriages and circumstances have scattered us.

So, Facebook is a great tool if you avoid politics. It is a lousy tool for an argument, political or otherwise.

My first ban was a permanent ban. Had a group in Michigan with over 125,000 members & 83 County pages. When it was learned our dear governor was scheduled for a boat ride to Wisconsin, I was banned that day and all of my pages as well.
I never swore on Facebook. Interestingly enough, the morning I was banned I had released endorsements for MI Supreme Court Justices and President Trump. The page was Michigan for 2A Sanctuary Counties. We recruited large amounts of Republican Party delegates, helped countless people run for county commissioner, township trustee, and school board positions. Not a bad run. I miss Facebook because it was one heck of a way to organize people and communicate conservative views and coordinate activities liberals hated.
Good riddance.

Why not do what I and many other facebook users did, and that is to delete our accounts. Facebook is an absolute joke.

I don’t debate the libs on FB anymore. Just make constant fun of them. Unfortunately, FB is where the fight is. Not FR, where you’re preaching to the choir. Not Parler, where you’re preaching to the choir, and it won’t be on Trump’s network, Truth Social, where you’ll be preaching to the choir. Done right, completely destroying the leftists and their anti-American agenda on FB is good fun, and thus far, it hasn’t landed me in FB jail. Use good sources, with info that can be backed up by government sites, and they so far have left me alone.

FB banned me for “suspicious activity.” Strange, I can still see my account, but they hid all my previous content to me and everyone. They keep sending me prompts to post on that blocked account and others. I believe it’s so they can keep up my social credit score. But screw them, I’m done with FB forever. I don’t even really miss it.
