Here's the definition of "Critical Race Theory" given in an article carried by Reuters:

The theory rests on the premise that racial bias - intentional or not - is baked into U.S. laws and institutions. Black Americans, for example, are incarcerated at much higher rates than any other racial group, and the theory invites scrutiny of the criminal justice system's role in that.
Wouldn't they have to also teach about how black people are treated in other countries — including in African countries — in order to make the case that "racial bias" is "baked into" American laws to a greater extent than it is in other countries?

The question should be why do they have more single parent homes.

But they’re never willing to investigate if criminal behavior is unevenly distributed by race. They start from the presumption that it is not, then of course the differential in incarceration can only be bias. But if you want to discuss bias, what about preemptively taking plausible explanations off the table before beginning the “discussion”?
