“The election of President Trump, I believe, was our last chance to make things right in this country, and it didn’t happen.”
I mostly agree with this part of your most excellent post, Metmom, and, like you I’m sure, I wish it weren’t so. I would only add that President Trump’s election win and future “loss” somewhat forced a lot of people to see just how deep the Deep State is in the election process. Crooked as all get out, and I think a lot of hearts and minds were turned to the truth, hence, Virginia and others in last week’s elections. Not saying all hearts and minds by any means, but a lot.
Trump could’ve been the last chance, but God has more chances than President Trump has dollars.
When God wants a man in office, He will have that man in office. I can’t help but have a little hope with DeSantis in the future.
When I think of end times, I look to Israel rather than the US or other countries. I know it can feel like we are certainly going under, but God sets His time by Israel. What is the most jarring to me, I guess, is Israel’s behavior towards, and easy acceptance of, the “vaccines.” That got my attention ... as did poor Australia.
Great post, btw, Metmom.
I think it’s most important that we remember that we are children of God Almighty. Whatever comes into, or is taken out of, our lives is done with God’s permission. Remembering that makes it easier to have no fear of what we see looming ahead … and that ain’t pretty no matter how many people want to dress it up as somehow “normal.” No. Things are no longer normal.
Yes,Israel is the key and I was likewise surprised by their embracing of the vax and how readily it was implemented and then mandated. I took Israel as more independent minded and freedom loving than that.
