The good thing is my bedroom alarm clock will finally show the correct time after months and months...
Most of the time pieces I rely on change themselves at the appropriate moment except for my old Casio wrist watch. It stopped doing that last March and now I suppose I’ll have to fiddle around searching that youtube vid again to see how to manually do it tomorrow. It was supposed to calibrate itself via the atomic clock at Ft. Collins but I guess the link is broken.

Oh just great. Now I have to work 13 hours tonight instead of the normal 12.

I disagree.
My alarm is set for 5:30 AM {I'm usually awake, but if not...} and I usually go to sleep about 10:30 PM and during the night, tonight my clock will reset its self to Eastern Time and drop back from 3 to 2 AM so instead of me getting 7 hours I'll sleep for 8 hours {if I sleep that long}.
Sounds like an extra to me.
I know that in the spring, I'll lose an hour during the night, but tonight, why is that not an extra hour?

About a decade ago I built "Tiny-Town" on the basement floor.
Lego and Lincoln Log buildings, H.O. gauge model trains,
the "NASCAR" slot car racetrack, taped down construction
paper 'roads' for the Matchbox and Hot Wheels car & trucks.
I also found on the internet and inkjet printed out,
folded and taped together paper buildings to bulk out
and beautify the 'village'.
It was very well received - so my advice is do it.
And have the camera ready.
Hell, change ‘em randomly, day by day. Get a broken one for laughs! And what’s up with changing by an hour, exact? Why not 39 minutes and 2.5 seconds?
Better still, return to railroad time.

Time is a Godly creation and no matter how hard or twisted man tries .... we are created, not creators.
The directions that came with it a couple of years ago said it would automatically change .... but it never does.
