We’ve got a local restaurant named “The Blue Plate Cafe” that turns out absolutely PERFECT fried eggs, served piping hot, every single time. Their cook never misses it and their prices are so affordable, too.
We went to a fancy and very expensive resort in Montana a couple weeks ago for a few nights. Their fried eggs were TERRIBLE. I asked for over medium and got undercooked, runny whites. I sent them back and the next batch came out exactly the same! I sure could have used your concealed AR then. Don’t get me started on their crappy coffee served in mini cups and the many trips to the kitchen the waiter took to refill the tiny cups. Ugh.
A really good egg cook is a pearl beyond price to a diner. Too many cooks are clueless about eggs.
Yeah, we have a nice place to eat like your Blue Plate Cafe, mom and pop place, eggs done right every time, reasonably priced and the only time I pulled my AR on them is the one time my coffee got lukewarm.
