“I work in Hollywood and contracted to Disney.”

Out of curiosity, do you think it was as woke and poorly done as, say, the all female “Ghostbusters?” That was purely gross. Or, was the scene done as an integral part of the storyline where it was used to push the story forward?

As long as a scene is used as an integral part of the story and the story won’t work without it, then it’s probably pretty good. But the writing on much of the stuff I’ve watched reviews on just creates a Mary Sue and throws political stuff in that has no relationship to the plot. I understand all of those movies have bombed. The latest “Dr. Who” comes to mind. I used to love Dr. Who. Then I caught a later version of Dr. Who, a male, suddenly deep-tonging some other man. I turned it off. Apparently, the female Dr. Who has already cratered. Same with the latest Bond movie.

****

I normally get free “courtesy” DVD’s weeks before the release. The guy who hands them over to us from the studios is a bit “chatty”, and he would give us the summary which is annoying but there’s a twist: he tells us the lefty parts if there are any homo fag scenes etc. I worked on a certain show on AMC, and more than a few would not wat to renew their contracts when they add homo characters.
