I have a lovely stand of young tender collards in my fall garden that are going on the Thanksgiving table and likely Christmas also.

I grew up in South Dakota and my family has been there since before it became a state. I never heard of anyone making baked sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving.

OMG, collard greens. I tried them when I moved to the sort-of South. They tasted so bad it was like burning. What kind of monster eats these?

I have never heard of the charcuterie tray and I am from Minnesota.
It looks like a party platter.

I think that “charcuterie tray” is actually “cold cuts”, “meat and cheese platter”, or maybe on the east coast, “antipasto.”
