I thought of the possibility of Mr baldwin likely spouting off about Mr Cheney earlier and did a search. I've generally known web.archive.org to be reliable.

web.archive.org attributes the original post to Alec Baldwin, the current huffpost rendition shows a different name and some unnamed 'contributor.'

Why would I give a damn what Baldwin says? Why would I care what he said 15 years ago? Finally, why give the Huff-n-Puff any credence at all?
