I think the title says hospital executives. Those aren’t doctors.
The problem is that the doctors are now employed by the executives. When they disagree with policy, or if the executives disagree with what they stand for (including if they stand up for patients) they are suddenly unemployed. Worse yet, some of the really controlling corporations attempt to slander and destroy their liscense.
Doctors can’t own insurance companies and hospitals and practicr medicine, by law, because of the risk of monopoly . Hospitals and insurance companies shouldn’t be able to employ doctors, for the same reason and mostly because it should be about the patient.
