Yeah, I've had IBD for 15 years or so; it originally manifested itself with frequent bouts of diverticulitis which is a painful colon inflammation where food particles get lodged in little pockets in your intestines called diverticuli.

I still have to watch my diet and what I eat so as not to inflame my intestines.

My VA doc has me on 2X 20 mg/daily Omeprazole and nightly intakes of an osmotic laxative which has me sitting on the toilet a lot in the morning but has kept me free of more painful diverticulitis bouts thankfully.

Not fun getting old, I'm 70, got a clean colonoscopy procedure 2 years ago and am just living with the ailment.

It could be worse.

Same here except one 40mg/day. Insurance covers the Rx 40 but not the OTC 20.
