I once dropped my wallet on the floor and a person picked it up and politely handed it back to me. I tipped him for his honesty in spite of the fact he didn’t want anything.
You never forget honest people like that.
I was leaving a college parking deck and people were swerving around a knapsack. I was at the end of the line and stopped and picked it up. I pulled over to see if there was any ID in it and saw it was filled with cash- I stopped counting at $3000 but there was much more. I took it to the campus police and left it with them. I never herd anything so called a few days late and it belonged to a foreign student who didn’t have a bank account.
