Multiple authoritative news sources says IVM isn’t approved to treat covid in Japan. Not a single reliable news outlet suggests IVM is being prescribed in Japan in any number approaching the 75% who are vaccinated. Haven’t seen anyone say it is available OTC.

Your Twitter pic reply, that had nothing to do with the false premise of IVM solving Japan’s covid pandemic, was not offensive in the least. But when a title is clearly false and debunked several days ago, it is neither newsworthy or worth debating. Just makes FR look like nut jobs.
Again, not a single news story about IVM actually being widely used in Japan because it isn’t true. An anecdotal story from someone who lives there isn’t proof of squat. (Sorry.)

The "anecdotal story" wasn't of Ivermectin being widely used - just that it wasn't being blocked by quacks or pharmacists - unlike here.

These claims have been posted at least five times, almost always by the same FReeper. There's slight changes in the article title, so it just keeps getting posted again and again.
Are there concerns about the vaccine? Yes. But some of the kookish stuff being posted is just embarrassing.
Enough was enough when the FReeper posted information that strongly suggested that all COVID-19 vaccines had been pulled in Japan.
