I passed on my recipes to my daughter about 10 years ago. Actually, she asked me for them. I used to cook a lot, and used to grow a huge vegetable garden and can so much, make jams, etc.
Thankfully, my daughter left me in the dust in the cooking department, growing department, and certainly the canning and preserving department. She cooks everything I used to, and has learned to cook so many other different types of foods - he spice rack has over a hundred bottles.
Even my son has gotten into smoking meats, and learning to cook what he hunts - ducks, geese, deer, wild turkey, etc. Lots of different marinades, etc. Very interesting.
I still contribute pies and peach cobbler and cheesecake lol. It’s the least I can do.
You contribute the Grande Finalé! The icing on the cake. What makes life sweet 💞
Love it!
A wonderful success story.
