That sounds like a great cook book. I’ve read that Kudzu could be eaten, the delicate leaves like lettuce and you could cook the bigger leaves like spinach. We might be doing that here in the south.

I was thumbing through my Ball canning book looking for how long to pressure can stocks. I noticed some recipes for squirrel in there.

I’m sure Clara would have had a Kudzu recipe or 2 if she had lived in the south.

I know you have a plentiful supply and won’t be apt to run out.

I never could eat rabbit, don’t let your kids have a pet one, so not sure I could eat squirrel even though they are everywhere.

Guess if I got hungry enough....

Wasn’t it Mike huckabee who told of cooking squirrel, in a Presto Popcorn popper?

I think it was during his poor college student days. 😱
