Notice how all of the mainstream media coverage of the Virginia election is going out of its way to spoon feed the take away from this nights election? (i.e. Youngkin won by agreeing with Trump on some key issues but not fully embracing him). That’s the winning formula for future Republican success, we’re told - as if just electing more Republicans is the answer. Of course, all the people telling us this are the usual suspects.
I’m glad Youngkin appears to have won, but the MSM is trying to make him out as a rock star - the future of the Republican party, we’re being told. They’re so transparent. Make no mistake. The MSM, including and especially FOX, are itching to get us all to move on to a post Trump world. And to do that they’ll trot out the latest RINO and tout him as the future of the party. It’s the same old playbook we’ve seen for years. Over the past ten years we’ve seen them tout Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Bobby Jindal, and Ted Cruz, as the conservative savior. Make no mistake. Youngkin is a RINO. He may do some positive things as governor, but only because he’s smart enough to ride the tide of public opinion and because people like Trump are keeping him honest.
I noticed the media keeps saying that Youngkin kept his distance from Trump.
I didn’t think Youngkin had ever held office to label him a RINO?
