SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) – A Utah-based company has been sued by federal regulators for allegedly falsely saying its saline nasal sprays are an effective way to prevent and treat COVID-19.
Xlear, Inc., based in American Fork, was sued by the Federal Trade Commission earlier this week. In the lawsuit against the company and its owner, the FTC asks a federal court in Utah to impose monetary penalties and bar Xlear from continuing to make such false and unsupported claims.
“Companies can’t make unsupported health claims, no matter what form a product takes or what it supposedly prevents or treats,” says Samuel Levine, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection. “That’s the lesson of this case and many others like it, and it’s why people should continue to rely on medical professionals over ads.”
Sounds like Samuel is contradicting himself, doesn't it?
Does he mean medical *professionals* like Dr FRAUDci?
i have been following this with interest.
who knows what the merit of the claims are, though they have other claims about other viruses and bacteria I think which are more substantiated.
their problem is that they are not a big pharma company with a very profitable patented product.
I expect we will see the provo-iodine solution approved into this space at some point at a much higher price-point.
I am just glad they haven’t banned NAC outright yet(have taken it for years for other reasons).
Makes you wonder why the pharmas and government won’t stand behind their claims about the mRNA shots without their shield against liability.
I read a study done on this product. Actual trials where COVID patients received ONLY Xlear nasal spray as treatment. Most, if not all patients were better in TWO days. I forget the time frame for this, but all had no trace of COVID after treatment.
To say they had no studies is NOT TRUE, I read one.

They banned this product for sale in the US. It saved my life. It supposedly had no medicinal value. Its theraputic value is not considered.
