Maybe the boy is like our neighbor’s child. She hasn’t been allowed outside to play with other kids until she gets vaccinated. “Myowhatsis? Who cares - now I can go outside and PLAY!!!”
I think I’m going to finally chime in to our neighbors, whose same-age children as our son were his erstwhile friends.
It’s Halloween which traditionally until last year they went together. Not a peep since COVID, for which they held their boys hostage (no school, no store, nothing) for more than a year. They won’t see our boy because he’s not vaxed now (and before, because they’re just too scared of everything).
It’s insane. I want to break a barrier and see if they’re going to do anything tonight.
