Possible. The human immune system is a very complex physical chemistry mechanism we don’t fully understand. Many chemical reactions in the body rely on counterbalancing mechanisms. Take too much antihistamine nose drops and your nose gets *more* congested. Take too much antacid and your stomach produces more acid to compensate.

So indeed we have no way of knowing the long term effects of basically hijacking the body’s ribosomes to force them to construct the covid spike protein. How does the body “see” this? In effect it is not the way a normal virus operates, excepting the more esoteric retroviruses, but those integrate into the host DNA. The mRNA is in effect a rogue command message overriding the body’s cellular control mechanism which should receive all commands from the cell’s DNA.
