The CDC is supposed to review the reports. From their website:

“When VAERS staff members follow-up on a report of a serious adverse event, they ask for the patient’s medical records related to the event to learn more about what happened.”

There’s obviously not time to do that with all the fake reports being posted to the site, however. The purpose of the system is so see if there’s a bad batch of a flu vaccine somewhere. If everyone in Biloxi starts vomiting after the vaccine, then they know something might be wrong. The notion that there are mass casualties related to the Covid vaccines is simply horseshit.
