It has created a huge problem for all major western countries whatever their constitutions have to say, I would imagine that no strict interpretation of the Canadian constitution would outlaw communists or socialists but the real problem is this — from about the milder version of socialism leftward to communism is territory that basically is no better for human freedom than Hitler or Mussolini versions of fascism, which would certainly run into legal challenges long before they gained any public opinion traction.
In other words, we have sanctified forms of government in our countries that are basically no better than Hitler or Mussolini would have provided, minus the benefits of a well-organized fascist economy and other considerations (none of which I advocate but when push comes to shove, if Hitler had not been an anti-Semitic racist and a megalomaniac, his government would have been far better than most European governments of its time, and Mussolini was basically dragged along by Hitler, so same could be said there).
Our countries will only begin to recover from the growing social and economic crises they face when a majority of voters come to understand that socialism even in its more mundane forms is against their better interests, and cannot deliver on most of its promises.
The original post lists a number of people who should not hold office, but I would widen the net to include almost all Democrats. Nancy Pelosi was not mentioned but she is basically a socialist too. Same goes for Schumer and Schiff, for my money anybody to the left of Mitt Romney should be out of office.
