Honest and nonactivist attitude; Run.
You haven’t got a chance and it’s easier to die tired.

I hear ya - just not willing to throw 25 years down the toilet. I DO love her (wife) and made a promise to myself when my FIL passed away 4 years ago to make sure his wife never was alone. I do care for her a lot so I’m trying to work thru this.

25 years is a long time. Has she pulled the “you’re selfish” bit before?

Do you have a friend you can stay with for a bit just to get a break and put some distance between you and your wife until more info comes out on the Notavax?

You can tell her this has changed the way you think about her and that you need some time to think when in reality she is the one who needs some time to think.

I’ve never been married, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I would never call someone selfish over not wanting to inject themselves with something unproven. I wouldn’t call them selfish for not wanting to give up a kidney. I’m not sure what it would take for me to call someone selfish over some medical thing.

Taking illegal drugs maybe? But then I wouldn’t get involved with someone like this in the first place.

My S.O. smokes, a little, due to work stress mainly and now Trump being out of office. I don’t like it, but he started long ago and smoked more when I first knew him. I don’t consider it selfish. If I nagged him, I think he would smoke more. He told me he did when he was with his wife because she was a nag in general and it drove him to smoke and drink (red wine) too much. He doesn’t drink much now.

He said that since I’m not a nag it has decreased his need to smoke and drink.
