Won't work. There are too many blue spots in Red States and too many Red spots in blue states. We're way too interspersed to separate.
Agreed. My plan is to boot NY and New England. The USA would be almost the same size, have sensible borders, and would have a conservative majority that could fix the remaining blue states.
