On Thursday, NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson penned a letter to the Players Associations representing five major professional sports leagues, asking potential free agents to avoid signing with teams in Texas because of the state’s voting and abortion laws.
The letter was sent to the Players Associations of the NBA, NFL, WNBA, NHL, and MLB, and urges professional athletes to “seek employment with sports teams located in states that will protect, honor and serve your families with integrity.”

Go to a state with easy abortion laws and it might help cut down on your future child support payments.
Sounds good to me. Anyone who doesn’t like Texas is welcome to reside elsewhere. I’m especially not going to lose any sleep over a bunch of thugs who play children’s games for a living.

I feel pretty safe, and I’m not even a pampered athlete making lots of money...or shortly to be making lots of money...for playing a game.
I think the NAACP successfully lobbied to move the All Star game from Atlanta,Ga. As a result Georgians lost thousands of jobs and all the money that comes from lost jobs. The NAACP is trying to take Texas jobs away just as they did in Georgia.
The NAACP motto should be kill jobs, kill black babies, kill election integrity. Send us money!
As much as I would hate to see a civil war, it may be the least objectionable outcome.
