>>Freerepublic doesn’t do that, and it easy to see and find out if you know where to look.
Every single link you click on on that clickbait website is sent directly to facebook and google - if you have a facebook account or google account, it is tied to you and your email address. If you don’t have an account at either place, they use a ‘fingerprint’ to track you - a combination of your ipaddress, browser, monitor resolution etc that they use to track you from one website to another.
If you visit either site, every thing you look at or click on is sent to facebook and google and becomes part of your ‘permanent record’.
Truly conservative websites should not be in bed with google or facebook. Freerepublic isn’t, and for that I am thankful.
I went and checked it. What you claim about the 3rd party API hidden trackers and fingerprinters is true. But what you do not share is that all those same are also on just about every website on the internet. I know of only two that do not... As you say the FR, and our own conservative forum. You are going to find these everywhere else as a blanket industry standard anymore. So what you ask is to not source to anywhere else but here because of this universal industry trend.
Because you say.
Well, that's good enough for me.
Or is it?
