I live in a cul-de-sac of only five houses, and most years I have fewer than ten trick-or-treaters. (One year I had none, and it wasn’t last year.) But the year I only get enough candy for ten trick-or-treaters will be the year I get twenty or thirty.
Same here. We live in a relatively rural area and get about two or three.
Although young couples with children are moving in, so maybe this year will be different.
But most parents drive their children to suburban developments. They are denser.
