CaCaLAnd used to do those routinely until the politicos in charge made a deal with the treehuggers. This political deal is the source of ALL of the wildfires since then, decades of them.
Doing it right after that Gawd-awful rainstorm of last week is good timing. I got close to 8 inches in my back yard in a 10 hour period. A fire after that would only work on a field that could dry out in a few days. What is needed is a few more days of drying out so a similar burn can be done within the forests.
