We grasp it. But we really don't have the time nor the inclination (speaking for myself here) to respond to every thread, reply, mail, etc. to get personal with posters. We have quite alot to watch, monitor and handle. Most days are good - some not so good.
I can pretty much guarantee that as a whole, none of us take anything personally. We're posters too.
We handle it and move on with our lives.
So should everybody. Just MHO.

When you delete a thread, you enter a reason why it’s deleted.
We know, because if we retain and reload the thread link, the reason is displayed.
But most posters don’t retain the thread link (URL), they expect to see the link listed somewhere (like in Pings). If it’s deleted, they never see the thread URL again, and so never see the reason.
PLEASE just add a mechanism where: when you enter the reason a thread is deleted, that reason is PMed to the poster. Automatically.
That’s all we want, and have been asking for it in earnest for years.
