Hardly surprising. Anybody with critical thinking however, would reject this gene therapy for a child.
1. Children have nothing to fear from getting the virus
2. The gene therapy does not prevent infection or transmission to others, so justifying the injection on the basis of protecting others is utter nonsense.
3. There are tangible risks from the gene therapy
In other words, the gene therapy offers no benefit to a child or others and only downside risks to the child.
