I have used MAB for early treatment since December 2020. One important thing about MAB.

MAB clears the virus rapidly. When used early, it may be so effective that the immune system does not acquire “natural immunity”.

The half life of immunoglobulins given IV is 6 weeks - 3 months. Then it, and its protection, is gone.

Now, if you are giving it to save someone’s life (and figuring out who is going to die and who isn’t is very difficult), that’s one thing. If you are giving it to a young person whose undamaged survival is probable, you may be postponing their rendezvous with COVID, when, if left alone, they would acquire strong immunity.

Is that the case with all the various MABs ?
