For a movie, it does a nice job integrating a usable story line with real events, despite the fact that Hollywood doesn’t make documentaries.
“The Right Stuff” and “Apollo 13” were both excellent. An ex-astronaut reviewed space movies not long ago and had high praise for Apollo 13 (he laughed at stupid movies like “Gravity” and “Interstellar”).
“First Man” was a real stinker, I thought.
Buzz Lightyear and October Sky triggered my son’s abiding interest n being a NASA engineer at age five.
When he got a little older, The Right Stuff finalized it.
