The wife was NOT the one who posted anything online. The wife of OP was sub /teacher, who spoke to the child, in the classroom….not online.
Condolences should have been offered, and, nothing more.

According to the post, the teacher never spoke to the child online. It was the mother of the child that went on Facebook and posted her version of how she think the conversation between her child and the teacher went. Evidently this conversation occurred in a classroom.
I can't imagine a teacher telling a grieving child in a classroom setting that her recently deceased family member should have been vaccinated. I'm thinking that the conversation somehow got misconstrued or lost in translation.
