Federal health officials warned consumers Saturday to avoid eating Citterio brand Premium Italian-Style Salame Sticks after the product was linked to a growing salmonella outbreak.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a food safety alert, advising consumers and businesses to not eat, sell or serve Citterio’s salami sticks.

I used to love Citterio’s snacks back when I was in the States. Hope the news isn’t accurate.
I recognize those. My husband liked them.
A few years ago, before I knew it, Target recalled my favorite brand of nut butter as it was contaminated with salmonella.
I became violently ill one night, cramps, vomiting and diarrhea, missed two days of work before I recovered.
