“Yami-Yami” BS. Probably trying to appeal to rubes doing “gemstone therapy” and the like.

Entire books about gemstone therapy, most popular is Love Is In the Earth. Another, written by George Frederck Kunz, head gemologist for Tiffany, who discovered a new gem, Kunzite. Gorgeous pink stone.

We have an interesting store in our city that sells gemstones and tells you how to use them for this and that effect. Really pretty stones. I go there occasionally to buy beads with magnets the actually do keep arthritis in wrist under control.

Old friend of mine, a psychologist in Oklahoma, was a rock collector. Bought a selenite crystal from a rock shop. Selenite allegedly carries messages. After buying stone, he dreamed three nights of a highly afflicted little girl who needed him. Three days later, an abused and neglected 8-year old arrived in his office. She said “I dreamed of you for three nights and I know you can help me.:

He did.

Go figure.,
