No but blanks can kill. There was some show years ago about models who worked as private investigators. The star of the show put a prop pistol to his head and blew a wad into his head, killing himself.
While in the Marine Corps, a Marine failed to clear his weapon and with the blank firing adapter removed, negligently discharged the weapon into my folded poncho blowing a hole all the way through. I took his poncho before they took him to the brig.

After that tragedy happened I read about professional shooters putting their guns that were loaded with blanks back in holsters. Accidental blank discharges put good size holes in the bottom of some holsters. Didn’t happen often but it was more frequent than you would think. Some holsters even had metal in the bottom but the blanks easily tore through that to due to the concentrated gas pressure.
