Horrible decision on her part. Reckless endangerment of other uninvolved people. She also cannot claim she was in fear for her life; she was shooting at retreating people.
The article says, “To the woman’s credit....” I give her no credit at all for negligent discharge of a firearm. And I’d like to have a word with the writer who said that. What an irresponsible idiot.
I may be mistaken but I think in Florida stand your ground includes going after armed people who have tried to rob your home with deadly force up to a 1/4 mile. I doubt the spray and pray is covered, however.
