My MD is from Nigeria, best doc ever. One of the best-liked neighbors in our apartment complex is Abe, big black guy with interesting white GF who is a social worker who helps women released from jail adapt to society again. CLEARLY, I’m a “racist”. Not to mention the fact that my now-dead husband was Puerto Rican, with all the racial mix that implies. Terrific guy, made huge bucks, we lived well and then he got very sick. Went back to UCLA to do a Masters in Fine Arts, wonderful painter. Died a few years ago.
